Missing our lovely tea + scone session at The Tea Cozy at #Sydney, The
Rocks [blogging about this soon!]..
So I baked some scones! First attempt so I used a box mix and it
was really good and extremely simple!
Wonder if in the near future i
could ever master making the best scones i had at #BlueMountains warm
fluffy on the inside and crispy crust on the outside Yums!
Angela's gonna send me a recipe for scones so i don't have to use a box mix next time, can't wait to try her recipe! (:
Scones served with a huuuuge dollop of clotted cream + jam & Leon made lemongrass tea for the night! Lovely Saturday night
in with the fiancé.
Spot the lazy ninja kitty?
Spot the lazy ninja kitty?
Oh and I wonder why they keep saying scones are best with clotted cream
& strawberry jam!
Strawberry jam is such a typical boring choice! I
rrrrreally enjoyed my scones with Golden Peach Jam, soooo good! Leon loves his scones with black current + raspberry! Next time I'd
whip up some cream cheese spread too to try and see if it's yummier that way.
Mad lovin' this Lulu Guinness watersnake clutch Leon got me from his London work trip! Awww he also got me an adorable tote from Lulu Guinness as well and i havent gotten around to use that yet (:
